Tony O’Connor
Tony is Managing Director in PDI and has 16 years’ service in the Military and over 20 years’ experience in Leadership Services, Executive Coaching and Talent Management across Europe and the Middle East in cross function, sector and culture in Insurance, Pharma, Software Development and IT Services sectors. Much of his time is spent Coaching Senior Leaders in large blue-chip companies, many with a global reach.
In a consulting capacity he leads and implements a fully integrated Organisation Development Process and being an accredited practitioner in LSI/CPQ, Hogan Assessments, Belbin Team Profiling, ECR and ECR 360, BarOn Eqi, 360 Feedback Dimensions, GLA360 and Talent Q Dimensions, he aligns, integrates and designs development solutions across 9 methods of learning in association with UCC and TUD.
Niall Saul
Niall has over 30 years’ experience at Senior Executive/Director level leading leadership projects and initiatives across the globe and during his time in Irish Life and Permanent, Niall has been involved in the design and leadership of major change/organisational restructuring programmes.
He is a Trustee of the Industrial Relations Research Trust based at Trinity College in Dublin and regularly lectures on the topic of designing and leading organisational change and strategic HR on Master’s Degree and Diploma programmes at DCU, UL, TCD, UCD, IMI , Syracuse University and The University of Colorado. Through his association with CLG, a US based consulting, coaching, change and performance management organisation, Niall has worked in conjunction with the Business Schools at Duke and Stanford in the USA.
Cariona Neary
Cariona is a specialist in Executive Education with over 25 She has been working years’ experience working at senior management level. She has been working with the Henley MBA programme for over ten years where she teaches Strategic Marketing and has written their MBA Branding Strategy Module.She is a founder of Dublin-based consultancy, Neary Marketing & Communications and is Director of OCN Coaching Champions Ltd. Having worked in Ireland and internationally at CEO and senior level, she offers a wide range of perspectives in B2B and B2C strategic marketing and customer relationship management. She has worked with PDI for over ten years and is an Associate Faculty Member of the Irish Management Institute and the University of Reading (Henley College), for whom she has written a Guides to Branding Strategy and Digital Marketing. She is co-author of the management textbook ‘Coaching Champions’.
Karl O’Connor
Karl has worked for over 30 years as a Senior HR Executive in Ulster Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and First Active, finishing as Head of Learning & Development. He is a specialist in HRM, Leadership, Coaching and Talent Managements and has deep sectoral and general business knowledge from a lengthy and distinguished career.
Karl has delivered in DCU Business School, NUIM, UCC, IMI on a wide range of executive programmes, including HRM Executive Masters, Masters in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, MSC in Strategy. He is a national award winner for his leadership, coaching and continuous improvement programmes with the CIPD, the IITD and Chambers Ireland. He also lectures in two leadership programmes in UCC.
John Broderick
John Broderick is a founding Director of Roche Martin Ltd, an Emotional Intelligence Leadership Development Company in Australia, Ireland and the UK and has also worked for several years in third level research and development.
John is one of Ireland’s leading Emotional Intelligence professionals and delivers a range of psychometric tools, the Emotional Capital Report (ECR) and ECR360, the MMPI-2, & NEO personality Inventory. Along with his Australian colleague and business partner, Dr Martyn Newman, he has spearheaded training in Emotional Intelligence, leadership and professional coaching in Ireland.
He is a registered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and founder member of the Division of Counselling Psychology; he is also a member of the Coaching Psychology Group in PSI and the Irish branch of the Association for Coaching.
Michael Brennan
Michael has over 40 years’ experience in leading, advising and consulting with government, commercial and semi state organisations. He has held CEO positions, coached leaders in several large organisations, delivering industry leading results in successive roles. Michaels experience has been achieved in the Consultancy, Media, Banking & Insurance industries. He is a specialist in Leadership, Strategy and Coaching and has deep sectoral and general business knowledge.
Michael has recently completed a four-year contract with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), where he acted as Special Advisor to the Director General of Institute of Finance and to the Deputy Governor of SAMA. He is a qualified Executive Coach, a certified Business Excellence Assessor and an Accredited Belbin Team Profile Assessor and Trainer. He is also an accredited Craft Systems Personality Evaluator for Leadership and Communication. Mike has delivered Leadership Programmes in UCC, ITT, AIT and DIT
Anne Fogarty
Anne Fogarty has 20 years of experience working across learning platforms in the UK and Ireland in a range of public and private sector organizations. This includes 2 years as a management trainer at the BBC, 10 months as an interim learning and development partner at the Financial Ombudsman Service and 1 year at Which?.
Prior to this she spent 4 years as a manager in Microsoft’s European Operations centre. Anne has become a specialist in Virtual Learning and has been successfully designing, developing, and delivering virtual classrooms for organisations in a variety of sectors for several years, including Insurance. These include Brit Insurance, CS Healthcare, Allianz, Société Générale and Credit Agricole. In third level Anne has worked with University of the West of England, Kings University, University of London, University of Westminster, University of Derby, Roehampton University, London.
Stephen Naughton
Stephen has over 20 years working across various development spheres and is an experienced leadership coach and facilitator. He worked for over 16 years’ leading teams and developing the Operations Performance Centre of Excellence for AIB, specialising in demand/capacity planning. Since leaving AIB, Stephen has continued his leadership coaching and performance improvement work across several sectors, including Insurance and Banking. He is a lead coach in Active Operations Management, assisting companies increase their productivity by up to 15%.
In addition to Ops Management, he delivers in leadership development, emotional intelligence, diversity awareness, virtual communications, and resilience. He coaches at senior management and executive level, but more recently he expanded his coaching activity to college students on a pro bono basis. Stephen also has his own Podcast, interviewing senior leaders, which he publishes monthly. He works in partnership with AIT and is an ECCM Practitioner.
Helen O’Leary
Helen is an experienced business consultant who has worked extensively in assisting organisations to greater success. She works with a wide range of clients from global hospitality firms to independent hotels and other niche businesses, building on their existing successes through the design and implementation of strategic commercial plans.
Helen has held senior leadership roles with luxury brands such as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and The Doyle Collection. She is a trainer and business mentor with a number of Skillnets and Fáilte Ireland and has facilitated the Northern Ireland Hotel Federation Executive Management Programme in 2018. She has guest lectured at Kingston University London, The Irish Management Institute, TUD Aungier Street and Shannon College of Hotel Management and speaks regularly at industry events in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Patrick Reynolds
Patrick has over 20 years’ experience in the education sector and lectured with The Open University Business School, Putteridgebury Management Centre at the University of Luton Business School, Henley Management College and AUA. He has been responsible for developing and delivering a broad range of courses in financial management, as well as tailored made in –house programmes for major UK companies, including The National Lottery.
He has lectured and authored materials on distance learning modules for overseas MBA programme in Singapore, South Africa , Indonesia and Russia, as well as authoring modules for finance and accounting in UCC, NUI Galway, UL and tailor making finance courses for companies such as APPLE and Biznet Skillnet network.His current consulting and research interests include strategies for new business start-ups and the development and delivery of online courses in Finance and Accounting relevant to the SME sector.
Suzanne Jahul
Suzanne has a strong background in consulting within Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSc (Hons) in SCPHN (Specialist Community Public Health Nursing) specialising in Occupational Health, she has a strong grasp of how the workplace can affect employees and vice versa.
She is skilled in collaborating with HR and other stakeholders to find solutions and adaptations to keep people at work. She has practiced these skills across public, private and government sectors in the UK, from NHS Trusts, to Chevron Oil Company, to the Metropolitan Police. Her work as taken her as far afield as the Republic of Angola to conduct an Audit of medical facilities.
Since returning to Ireland, she has worked as Senior Coordinator for leading Home Care providers and these roles involved working under pressure and coordinating large caseloads of clients, while scheduling multiple caregivers shifts concurrently, often at short notice. Since 2016, Suzanne has worked with PDI Consultants as Consulting Coordinator where she has held responsibility for coordinating all programmes, scheduling of appointments and managing client relationships.
Tony Casey
Tony is a highly motivated, operationally and results driven manager OD consultant with a wealth of experience in competitive commercial environments. He has successfully led and coached others to manage businesses in a variety of industries and is particularly effective in fast moving, rapidly evolving operations. In 1994 whilst in the Ranger Wing, together with a small group of officers and NCOs, he founded a business providing experiential learning for Team Building and Team Motivation. Working extensively with the IRFU, Leinster Rugby and Dublin GAA led to a number of corporate assignments and he delivered programmes encompassing a range of organisational & development interventions across industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Technology and the Public Sector
Dom Crotty
Dom is an experienced Business Skills Consultant and Coach with over 30 years’ experience in Management and Business Skills Training and Development. He commenced his career as a Consultant in KPMG, followed by business development roles with Cegos and, more recently, as Senior Account Manager, incorporating Business Development, for OPP Ltd and TalentQ/Korn Ferry plc.
He is qualified with the British Psychological Society (BPS) in the use and application of an extensive and wide range of personality assessments used in selection & recruitment and learning & development. These include MBTI, Type-Coach, 16PF, FIRO-B, EQi, Korn Ferry’s Inventory of Leadership Styles (ILS) and Organisational Climate Survey (OCS), KFLA 360 and Dimensions. He was centrally involved in the design of bespoke assessment combinations used by leading Irish and major multinational client organisations. Dom is a CIPD Certified Trainer and holds an International Coaching Federation (ICF) approved and accredited Diploma in Leadership & Executive Coaching.
Niall Eyre
Niall is an experienced HR & Business Transformation Executive with twenty years’ National and International HR Director & Global HR Transformation experience with companies such as Deloitte Ireland, the IRFU, as well as Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals.
He has provided Leadership support to C Suite clients in the areas of Organisational Change, Business Transformation, Business Development, Organisation Restructuring, Leading Through Change and Culture Transformation.
In these roles, he has led business critical and complex HR & Business Transformation initiatives across EMEA, APAC and AMERICAS, partnering with Global Executives and Senior Business Leaders and has developed a particular expertise within the Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Restructuring and Business Integration arenas.
